Getting to the Start

Leave I-5 at Exit 230. Follow SR 20 west. Left on La Conner-Whitney Road. Just as you enter La Conner take a left onto Maple. Right at Caledonia. Left at 3rd. St. S. Right at Sherman. Follow Sherman to the boat ramp and parking under the orange arched bridge.

Race Course

The course heads down the Swinomish Channel, west past Goat Island, around "Can C-1" (the green buoy), and returns to the start. If the weather is foul the course may be altered to a more sheltered area.

The 2010 post race soup'n'bread will be at Maple Hall. Directions:

From the race staging area (under the bridge)
Go back the way you came in - Conner Way to Sherman St. and left on S. 3rd St to Caledonia. At the stop sign at Caledonia, go straight and follow S. 3rd; you'll come to a pay parking lot on the right, and if you continue to the left up the hill, Maple Hall is on the left at 2nd and Commercial.

From the freeway
As you come into La Conner you'll be on Morris St (you've just come around the roundabout). Take the very first left onto Maple Street; Continue on Maple St for aprox. 8 blocks and go right on Calendona. Go straight on Caledonia for about 3 blocks and go right on S. 3rd Street. you'll come to a pay parking lot on the right, and if you continue to the left up the hill, Maple Hall is on the left at 2nd and Commercial.
